The Serve.Love online and Serve.Love mobile application. This Privacy Policy describes how Serve.Love (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, share and stores information you provide through the Web Site and Applications. It also describes your rights and choices regarding our use and sharing of your information, including how you can access and update such information.

Age Restrictions

We do abide by the United States Children Online Privacy Protection Act of 1988 and therefore you must be at least 13 years old to sign up for and use our service with your own profile. We also encourage all younger visitors to speak with parents or guardians before using our website or application. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If your child has used our service and submitted personal information to us without your consent, please contact us and we will immediately remove that information from our service.

Your use of the Web Site or Application constitutes your agreement to our Terms of Use, and acceptance of this Privacy Policy and your consent to the practices it describes. Information Collection

• Your Account Information. You must provide a phone number, first name and last name to create a profile. You may add your email address, but it is not required to use our service.
• Company, school, and other organizational information. If you are an event host (organizer) the name of the organization, organization address, contact names and numbers must be provided to use our service for an event.
• Location information. Your location information is collected via GPS from your device if you consent to location access from your device.

Information Use

• Usage and Log Information. We collect information about your activity on our service. This includes the time and frequency such as when you registered to use our service and either signed up to volunteer for an event or added an event as a host. This information may include the volunteer opportunities you’ve searched for, viewed, shared, or saved. We also record log files and reports and if you used our chat feature.
• To provide volunteer opportunities. We use your location to show you events near you.
• Communicate with you via SMS, email, or push notifications. This is only done if a mobile phone number or email was provided and if you give us permission to do so.

Data Transfer and Storage

To provide our services efficiently and effectively, we may transfer your data for storage and processing to other jurisdictions whose privacy laws are different from your own. When doing so, we will observe all applicable privacy laws relating to the transfer and storage of your data.

• Serve.Love licenses technology solutions from these providers to support our ecosystem.
• Examples of Infrastructure Providers include cloud hosting, databases, analytics services, communication distributors, mapping solutions, and payment processing.
